Prismatic Oil Level Gauge Indicator

Conservators on transformers are reservoirs of oil. The conservator is responsible to hold a certain amount of oil as compensating volume. The conservator is equipped with a clear transparent oil level indicator strip of polymer. This strip gives a clear view of the level of oil. Sometimes a level indication pointer may guide the manufacturer on the filling level.
Oil Gauges may be of the following types –
  • Only Acrylic / Polycarbonate Gauge having holes mounted directly with gasket on conservator flat surface.
  • Acrylic / Polycarbonate / Glass Gauge with a Steel / Stainless steel frame mounted with gaskets over welded plate.
  • Acrylic / Polycarbonate / Glass Gauge housed in a Aluminium casted frame and mounted with gaskets over welded plate.
  • Single Acrylic oil gauge with projected 2 studs mounted on body.
  • Kenya type Oil Gauge available in different size and mounting distance. These oil gauges are in assembled form. The mounting on conservator is done by providing bolts on inner side of openable cover.
The Acrylic/ Polycarbonate / Glass Gauge may be plain or may have prisms on inner surface as per customer requirement.
